The Flesch Reading Ease test rates text on a 0-100 scale. Higher scores mean the text is easier to read. A score of 60-70 is considered standard and appropriate for most web content. The formula is: 206.835 - 1.015(total words/total sentences) - 84.6(total syllables/total words).
